About Nicky – Salon Owner / Director

Nicky is the Salon Director who established Hunters Hairdressing Ltd in 2003 and now has over 30 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry.

Nicky has worked a great deal in training and education and is a Licentiate of the City & Guilds Institute which recognises an individual for their contribution to their Industry through employment, education and training.

Nicky says ‘ I’m passionate about giving my guests a first class designer haircut and a super service. I love to work with colour and colour correction is my area of expertise’

Nicky has been working with Tape Hair Extensions for the past two years in the salon and whether you need to add length or volume, she is available to give you advice.

Outside of the business Nicky enjoys spending time with her partner, family and with her two dogs, Dudley the Cavapoo and Bella the Whippet! Lazy days in the sunshine, reading and relaxing with a good book and a glass of Shiraz.

Beck has in excess of 20 years salon experience and is an often requested stylist in the salon due to her many skills.

Beck is qualified to a City & Guilds Advanced Level 3 and has a diploma in Creative Cutting, Colouring and Gents Cutting. Beck’s area of expertise is Hair Up!

Beck says ‘ I can’t imagine working in another industry, I love creating hair styles for weddings and I like to do gents hair’.

Outside of the business Beck enjoys walking and has raised money for the Kent and Sussex Air Ambulance, a glass of Fizz, a good box set and plenty of time socialising with friends and family!

Debbie is a well-established senior member of the Styling team at Hunters and is in much demand with her clients.

Debbie has been working in the hairdressing industry for over 30 years and is able to offer a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Debbie very much enjoys creative cutting and hair colouring; she also offers occasion hair for weddings and gents hair cutting.

Debbie says ‘ I love working at the salon, there’s a great team and great guests’.‘ I’m constantly learning new techniques giving me more to offer my guests’

Outside of the business Debbie spends time with her partner and family and is looking forward to new adventures travelling, walking and meals out!

Jess is our beauty therapist at Hunters and offers a range of treatments to our clients. Qualified to a Level 3 in Beauty Therapy, with ten years’ experience.

Jess’s services include Gel Manicures and Pedicures, Waxing, including Ladies Intimate Waxing, Body and Facial waxing.
Jess works part time with the team whilst bringing up her daughter with her partner.

Sherie did her Apprenticeship at the salon and works part time as our front of house receptionist’ She is a fully qualified Hair Professional who has a great understanding of the technical services available in the salon.

Sherie is able to give a great deal of information when dealing with enquiries and can always be relied upon to deliver a friendly face and a professional service.

Outside of work Sherie is a busy mum bringing up her young daughter; when it’s time to relax Sherie enjoys reading a good book or getting into a good box set.

Rhian – Senior Hair Designer

Rhian chose to train to take on a new career in hairdressing in 2020 and is now a qualified member of the Hunters Styling Team. Since joining the team Rhian’s skills have enable her to be promoted to a Senior Hair Designer in the salon and she is very much in demand.

Rhian is continuing to develop her advanced skills in re-designing hair, colour correction and hair extensions adding many strings to her bow and enjoys working in the salon atmosphere with public.
Outside of work Rhian is a passionate gamer and enjoys playing the fantasy games.

Along with Beck, Rhian is a keen walker and also participated in raising money for the Kent and Sussex Air Ambulance.

Rhian is now mum to Vega the cat and Odin the Royal Python and Obi the Doberman is quite a good baker too!

Following in her mum’s footsteps Lauren has chosen a career in hair & beauty; recently Lauren has achieved her Level 3 Qualification in Hairdressing; Lauren is also qualified in Level 2 Beauty Therapy.

Lauren is continuing her professional development at Hunters and undergoing intense training in advanced hairdressing techniques.

Along with Jess Lauren is able to offer Gel Manicures.

Lauren loves to keep fit and enjoys running and regular workouts. Lauren also loves to travel and explore and is working on her skiing!
